Learn to Ride - Book Now

Coronavirus measures

Temporary operations

COVID-19 CLIENT UPDATE at 10.30 am on 4/6.

From the 17th June we will be introducing 1-hour group lessons (max 5 riders) to add to the ½ hour private lessons already in place.

Both lesson types are special COVID variations and will be delivered differently to our previous formats to get as many people back into riding as possible in the limited circumstances whilst observing government guidelines and social distancing measures. We are operating a special 'Meet & Greet' service for riders on arrival and additional time will be devoted to the safe mounting of riders.

Only competent riders able to mount and dismount independently and able to adjust their own tack will be allowed at this stage and riders need to be at or above our level 5 riding standard. Unfortunately, this will preclude our beginner and novice riders, but we will re-introduce these as soon as guidelines allow.

We are taking bookings now for both lesson types by phone and the lines will be manned from 10am to 1pm Wed to Sat until further notice but if you have trouble getting through please call 07968 534570. Lessons will run initially in the mornings from Wednesday to Saturday and we will prioritize all those riders who are currently in credit. All riders now have credit sheets which include the value of any lessons cancelled previously. Bookings will not be possible in person at the centre to begin with and must be made by phone and we are only able to take existing riders at this time.

Should anyone who does not meet the initial booking requirements wish to make any enquiries please do so by emailing us at riding@callumpark.com. We are keeping the phone line as free as possible for bookings.

Due to the unprecedented safety measures in place and the limited booking slots at present we are operating a special and temporary COVID price list

½ hour privates

1 hour groups

Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate any lesson moves or allow any credit in the event of cancellation and to ensure the social distancing measures, all lessons must finish on time so any lesson starting late will not be able to run over.

The two points of closest contact between rider and staff will of course be mounting and dismounting and staff will wear gloves and Face masks for this. The rider must also wear gloves and a face mask is optional. Hand sanitization points are marked on the client route map below, but we would appreciate riders bringing and using their own where possible.

There will be no refreshments available and riders must have their own riding hats. Gloves should be worn at all times and riding equipment and clothing should be washed between each visit to the centre. Please leave the centre as soon as you have dismounted.

Needless to say, should you or anyone in your household have any suspected Covid-19 symptoms please do not visit the Centre.
