Hats can be purchased from our tack shop or hired for £1 per session.

Footwear:
Riding boots or jodhpur boots should be worn. The minimum requirement is strong boots or shoes with a hard, flat sole and small (1/2 inch) defined heel. Trainers and wellington boots are not permitted. Parents leading on Lead Rein lessons must also wear suitable footwear, open-toe shoes are not permitted.

Lower Body:
Jodphurs are the most comfortable trousers to ride in and we have a large selection in stock in our shop. Jogging trousers or thick leggings are generally more comfortable than jeans. Legs must be covered, shorts are not permitted. All clothing should be appropriate for the weather conditions and should allow freedom of movement.

Upper Body:
Dress appropriate to weather conditions and so that it does not restrict freedom of movement. Waterproof coats are advisable in wet periods.

Hands:
We recommend that all riders wear gloves..

Body Protector:
We strongly recommended body protectors especially for children and certainly during all jumping or hacking activities.

Jewellery:
With the exception of a watch and wedding ring, jewellery is not permitted whilst riding or on the stable yard.
